Chemist

Responsibilities

• Handle samples and perform analyses according to Operating Procedures and test methodology
• Maintain and verify laboratory equipment
• Report deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor
• Maintain records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures
• Identify and record nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests
• Troubleshoot and adapt existing procedures to achieve desired results
• Initiate re-checks when QC failures occur due to chromatography or sample issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Proficiency in English
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
• Experience with LIMS systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of prior laboratory experience in a related field
• Experience operating analytical equipment such as ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and spectrophotometers
