About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct testing according to SOP and QA/QC procedures in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025
- Adhere to group HSE safety procedures and local regulations
- Establish and review laboratory operating procedures
- Ensure all quality manuals and procedures are appropriately documented and followed
- Review and issue test reports and certificates professionally
- Verify accuracy of Proficiency Testing Programme or Round Robin results
- Maintain Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
- Report hazards, risks, near-misses, and incidents in the Crystal system
- Meet all Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in a relevant analytical laboratory
- Ability to understand required test standards and procedures
- Good communication and written skills in English and/or local language
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in oil testing
- Experience in agriculture analysis
