Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze chemical and biological characteristics of manufacturing processes and finished devices
• Prepare test samples and controls for analysis
• Perform chromatographic and mass spectrometric analysis using LC-MS, GC-MS, and ICP-MS
• Conduct routine and non-routine testing of materials to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Draft internal procedures, test protocols, and laboratory reports
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot unexpected outcomes
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in an analytical laboratory
• Knowledge of basic laboratory operations including sample handling and volumetric solutions
• Ability to perform routine analytical chemistry calculations
• Understanding of laboratory safety and engineering controls
• Demonstrated ability to develop and optimize analytical methods
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• Familiarity with GLP and/or GMP
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS, GC-MS, and ICP-MS
• Familiarity with chromatography data systems
• Experience with statistical analysis and troubleshooting analytical instrumentation
• Experience with method validation, transfer, and bioanalytical procedures
