Chemist Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Record required parameters from work orders in corresponding workbooks
• Prepare samples for further analysis through grinding or other mechanical operations
• Perform physical analyses and impurity testing
• Conduct chemical analyses including protein, gluten, falling number, fat extraction, and W
• Perform calculations for trained analyses and record them in workbooks
• Sign workbooks after completing entries
• Prepare necessary reagents and solutions
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment

Requirements

• Higher education degree in biology and/or chemistry
• Specialization in chemistry or biology
• Attention to detail
• Technical intuition
• Professional integrity
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in PC operations (Word, Excel)
