Chemist II

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, blends, finished products, and stability samples
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation including HPLC, UPLC, GC, Dissolution apparatus, UV/VIS, FTIR, and Karl Fischer titrators
• Maintain concurrent and accurate documentation of raw data, observations, and test results in paper and electronic systems
• Assist with method development, method transfer, and method validation activities
• Perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments
• Ensure strict compliance with cGMP, ICH, FDA, and DEA requirements and internal SOPs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a pharmaceutical analytical laboratory (or 3 years with a Master’s degree)
• Strong understanding of GMP, ICH, and FDA guidelines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation and wet chemistry
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motion tasks in a laboratory setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry
• Experience with USP monograph interpretation
