Chemist II

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation and analysis using GC-MS/FID, LC-MS/PDA, and/or ICP-MS/OES
• Conduct extractable and leachable (E&L) testing on pharmaceutical containers and medical devices
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation for cGMP analysis
• Prepare chemical solutions following standard operating procedures
• Maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals and disposable equipment
• Perform wet chemistry and raw material analysis
• Document all testing activities in accordance with cGMP, GLP, and SGS Integrity programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience with GC-MS/FID, LC-MS/PDA, or ICP-MS/OES
• General knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and methodologies
• Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail skills
