About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform complex analytical testing and provide technical expertise to support semiconductor and biotechnology clients
- Manage laboratory operations, including sourcing equipment, reagents, and maintaining current procedures via Maximo
- Serve as the Chemical Hygiene Officer, championing safe laboratory and chemical handling protocols
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams on data reporting, troubleshooting, and solution-finding
- Develop new analytical methods and special studies to satisfy customer needs and improve products
- Write, edit, and review SOPs and multi-technique interlab reports
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to chemists, laboratory technicians, and service technicians
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency while upholding established Quality Systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a similar science discipline with 3+ years of experience, OR a Master's degree in Chemistry or a similar science discipline with 2+ years of experience
- Proficiency in LIMS and the Google platform
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and resourceful skills
- Deep knowledge of safe laboratory and chemical handling protocols
- Ability to work both in team-oriented and self-directed research environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the semiconductor industry
- Experience working within the industrial gas industry
