Chemist I, Food Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Handle samples and perform analyses according to Operating Procedures and test methodology
• Maintain and verify laboratory equipment
• Report deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor
• Maintain records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures
• Identify and record nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests
• Suggest improvements for sample flow and preparation efficiency
• Initiate re-checks when QC failures occur due to chromatography or sample issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• 3 or more years of relevant laboratory or bench experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Metals and Minerals analysis by ICPMS
