Chemist I-2

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process production, finished products, and stability samples
• Assist in deviation investigations, out-of-specification results, and process changes
• Author and review GMP documentation, including test methods, protocols, reports, and raw data
• Troubleshoot assay and instrumentation issues independently
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, including glassware washing and sanitization of equipment like incubators and refrigerators
• Manage laboratory inventory, including logging chemicals and ordering supplies as needed
• Ensure all documentation is detailed, timely, and compliant with cGMP/GDP requirements

Requirements

• Vocational Education or degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a closely related field
• Knowledge of analytical techniques such as UPLC, HPLC, GC, FTIR, and UV/VIS
• Understanding of cGMP and GDP requirements
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work safely with hazardous and biohazardous materials
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Analytical Chemistry or Quality Control laboratory setting
• Familiarity with Karl Fisher, Particle Size Analyzers, Densitometers, and Osmometers
