Chemist

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical testing on proteins and antibodies using CE, IC, HPLC, SEC, SDS-PAGE, UV, Protein A titer, and particulate analysis
• Work rotating 12-hour night shifts (5:45PM - 6AM, 3-2-2-3 schedule) including weekends and holidays
• Enter and manage data in LIMS; experience with Empower is a plus
• Document laboratory work in notebooks, e-notebooks, logbooks, and electronic systems
• Conduct data integrity checks, verification reviews, and communicate results through electronic systems
• Participate in investigations and collaborate with leaders and clients on business directives
• Work independently and as part of a team in a GMP environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field, or equivalent directly-related experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible with a positive attitude and focus on quality
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and keep accurate records
• Willingness to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
