About the Company

SGS Nederland B.V. operates through 6 business lines, including Health and Nutrition (H&N) in Spijkenisse, which focuses on the quality control of food products and agricultural raw materials. Our laboratory in Spijkenisse investigates a wide variety of food products and raw materials using both traditional and modern analytical techniques under ISO 17025 accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of chemical analyses
• Assess analytical results
• Continuously improve methods and processes
• Develop and safeguard reliable analytical methods
• Manage and maintain laboratory equipment
• Optimize laboratory workflows

Requirements

• HLO degree in analytical chemistry or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a production or contract laboratory within the food industry
• Experience with Kjeldahl, Dumas, titrimetry, and spectrometry
• Experience with instrumental chemistry is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and LIMS
• Fluency in Dutch and English
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 is a plus
