About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform acceptance and control analyses of waste within the laboratory, from sampling to critical result judgment
  • Conduct analyses for subcontracted clients
  • Ensure analyses are performed according to the control plan for incoming waste and outgoing discharge water
  • Implement good operating practices and ensure the accurate reporting of analytical results
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance for which you have been trained

Requirements

  • BAC+2 degree in Chemistry
  • Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques including X-ray fluorescence, Karl Fischer, pH-metry, calorimetry, potentiometry, and ionometry
  • Ability to work autonomously at the laboratory bench
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with spectrometric and chromatographic techniques (ICP-AES/MS, AAS, GC/MS, etc.)
  • Experience in mineral and organic analysis
