Chemical Technician

Responsibilities

• Independent operation and monitoring of automated production processes via process control systems (polymerization, granulation, extraction, and drying plants)
• Manual tasks to ensure proper operation of production plants, such as commissioning granulation equipment and cleaning filter systems
• Documentation of operating procedures in checklists and computer-aided logging of process deviations
• Identification of malfunctions regarding process, safety, and quality, and creating error descriptions for maintenance
• Independent performance of analyses within the framework of in-process control and determination of relevant process parameters for quality assurance

Requirements

• Successfully completed training as a Chemical Technician (Chemikant) or comparable qualification
• Ideally professional experience in a polymerization plant or similar facility
• No restrictions on lifting and carrying loads
• Fitness for continuous shift work
• Safety- and quality-conscious behavior
