Chemical Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling using full body and respiratory protection in accordance with safety regulations
• Conduct regular plant rounds to monitor production systems
• Support the preparation of plant components for maintenance and repair activities
• Execute independent maintenance tasks such as switching pumps, changing filters, and replacing breathing air bundles
• Manage the provision and preparation of protective equipment and set up construction sites
• Handle filling, unloading, and proper waste disposal within the production area
• Undertake safety and operational watch duties for non-critical maintenance tasks as required

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Chemical Technician (Chemikant) or a comparable chemical-technical profession
• Previous experience in a production or chemical plant environment is preferred
• Familiarity with personal protective equipment (PPE), specifically full body and respiratory protection
• Strong commitment to safety and a meticulous, precise way of working
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken)
