Chemical Technician

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control chemical processes to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to specifications
• Operate production machinery and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
• Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, handling chemicals and equipment responsibly to prevent accidents
• Conduct quality checks and implement improvements to maintain high standards in product output
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly using established troubleshooting procedures
• Document process parameters, maintenance activities, and incident reports accurately
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1+ years of job-related experience
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-3-2 schedule (including day and night shifts)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with hazardous chemicals
• Technical training or coursework in chemistry or a related field
• OSHA certification
