Chemical Technical Laboratory Employee

Responsibilities

• Perform physico-chemical and wet chemical analyses of raw materials, intermediate, and finished products
• Conduct analyses including gravity, alcohol content, bitterness units, color, pH value, and gas chromatography
• Monitor production and filling processes through regular in-process controls (IPK)
• Calibrate, maintain, and care for analytical and testing equipment
• Document and evaluate analytical data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
• Support the maintenance and development of the quality management system and work instructions
• Adhere to quality, hygiene, and safety standards

Requirements

• Completed training as a Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, Brewer and Malter, or comparable qualification
• Proven laboratory experience
• Ideally experience in the food or beverage industry, particularly in a brewery
• Proficiency with modern laboratory and analytical equipment
• Precise, reliable, and responsible working style with high hygiene awareness
• Ability to work in shifts (early and late shifts) and occasional weekend work

Preferred Qualifications

• Further training as a Master Brewer
• Technician degree or degree in brewing or beverage technology
