Chemical Technical Assistant R&D Analytics

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analyses of raw materials and flavors
• Support the R&D team in evaluating new products and developing test series for flavor composition and stability
• Conduct analytical investigations of end products using GC and HPLC and independently evaluate results
• Operate and assist in the maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Implement and adhere to quality assurance measures within regular laboratory activities
• Conduct sensory testing and support product applications

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience with an analytical focus in a laboratory setting, preferably in the chemical industry
• Sound theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography (GC & LC)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
• Good German language skills (B2 level)
• Independent working style, sense of responsibility, and strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant or Chemical Technical Assistant
• Strong technological understanding and conscientious approach to documentation duties
• Understanding of flavor performance and product improvement
• Knowledge of local and regional regulations
