About the role

Responsibilities

  • Weigh, measure, prepare, mix, monitor, and adjust chemicals to manufacture stock solutions and other products for life science research.
  • Perform in-line product testing to resolve issues such as pH or conductivity.
  • Follow all policies related to the storage, handling, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous waste.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with quality standards and good manufacturing practices.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of processes and prepare equipment for maintenance.
  • Champion site safety culture by identifying risks and upholding housekeeping standards.
  • Utilize SAP for transactions and ensure proper labeling and traceability of all materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-3 years of production experience (experience in a regulated environment is preferred).
  • Basic analytical and math skills, including the ability to convert units of measure and calculate ratios.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Word.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to undergo forklift training and routine use of respirators.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree with a chemical or biological background.
  • Experience working with chemical reactors.
  • Experience working in compliance with hazardous material regulations and wastewater handling.
  • Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP.
