About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and document design, installation, acceptance, validation, and verification testing in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Work within a DSEAR compliant environment, ensuring adherence to design and safety standards for hazardous area manufacture
  • Schedule and conduct maintenance, calibration, and installation activities within a fast-paced production environment
  • Execute and support Management of Change (MoC) control processes, including risk documentation and mitigation
  • Identify and adopt emerging technologies to drive production efficiencies and competitive advantage
  • Represent the local team within global, cross-disciplined engineering project teams
  • Implement production efficiency improvements using a strong Continuous Improvement (CI) mentality

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 3-7 years of relevant industrial experience
  • Process Safety Management certificate
  • Proficiency in creating Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID)
  • Familiarity with HAZOP and similar process safety tools
  • Experience with Siemens NX or similar CAD software for design and modelling
  • Proficiency in data analysis using statistical tools and software
  • Experience in process optimization, scale-up, and technology deployment

  • Proven ability to work effectively within collaborative, multi-discipline teams
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to solve complex technical problems
