About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot plant processes and equipment
- Perform day-to-day operations including sampling, forklift driving, and HMI interaction
- Analyze plant parameters such as temperature, pressure, pH, and flow to respond to deviations
- Operate equipment including holding tanks, centrifugal pumps, heat exchangers, and kilns
- Perform routine product sampling and verify results
- Remedy unsafe conditions and report hazards
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure effective communication
Requirements
- Basic working knowledge of chemical plant operations and process equipment
- Ability to follow procedures precisely with strong situational awareness
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work up to 12 hours in a PAPR
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders in a multi-level industrial facility
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and chemicals
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in chemical plant operations
