Chemical Operations Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the Hydrogen Peroxide Purification Process, including material transfers, chemical additions, and batching
• Operate the high purity hydrogen peroxide purification process and batching systems
• Perform unloading of incoming railcars and loading of outgoing ISOtainers or tankers
• Conduct sampling using established procedures and perform basic laboratory testing
• Execute line ups, identify valves and piping, and operate the tank farm
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and upkeep of operations equipment
• Assist with utility system operations and participate in safety or quality investigations
• Maintain plant housekeeping to ensure a safe and healthy high-purity environment
• Perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, climbing stairs, and routine outdoor activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred
