Chemical Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product cost, service, and quality
• Drive productivity through continuous improvement activities
• Write, maintain, and improve production standard operating procedures
• Ensure process safety and compliance by leading PSM activities on all assigned products
• Maintain material balances and lead waste reduction projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• One year of engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of engineering experience
• Experience as a Chemical Engineer in a chemical-based manufacturing facility
• Experience with Reactor Systems
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
