Chemical Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Support the Food Contact laboratory in the preparation and testing of consumer goods with food contact
• Simulate the intended use of products according to legal requirements
• Produce and prepare simulants for subsequent chemical testing
• Organize, coordinate, and process tests within the team
• Document work steps and results
• Comply with quality, safety, and laboratory standards

Requirements

• Completed training as a Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA), Chemical Laboratory Technician, or comparable
• Ideally initial professional experience in a laboratory environment
• Basic knowledge or initial experience with legal regulations in the food contact field is an advantage
• Experience with LIMS is desirable
• Good mathematical skills, especially for area and volume calculations
• Very good organizational skills and a structured way of working
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate closely in daily laboratory operations
• Very good German skills (at least C1)
• Good English skills (at least B2)
