Chemical Laboratory Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with NTP-ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and laboratory management system procedures
• Identify management system deviations and initiate corrective actions
• Review, supervise, and authorize laboratory test reports
• Validate analysis results under established quality control criteria and authorize LIMS reports
• Supervise daily operations to ensure technical and administrative quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and technical support
• Coordinate the supply and stock of reagents and laboratory materials
• Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and proper use
• Report accidents, incidents, and substandard conditions

Requirements

• Degree and professional license in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgy
• Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles
• Driver's license (category A1 or higher)
• Knowledge of sampling, sample preparation, and chemical analysis
• Proficiency in wet, volumetric, and gravimetric analysis methods
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Knowledge of NTP-ISO/IEC 17025 quality management systems
• Knowledge of current mining legislation
• Experience with AA, ICP, and preferably FRX or DRX equipment
• Experience validating and reporting analysis under NTP-ISO/IEC 17025
