Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the operation and maintenance of the Laboratory
• Define objectives and strategies for laboratory operation and maintenance aligned with client goals
• Ensure compliance with the laboratory quality management system according to NTP-ISO/IEC 17025
• Manage human resources, ensuring technical competence through continuous training and development plans
• Establish safety, environment, and quality guidelines for operations
• Allocate necessary resources for operation, training, development, and continuous improvement of the Quality Control area
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance programs for laboratory equipment

Requirements

• Degree and professional license in Pure Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in laboratory management
• More than 4 years of experience in sampling processes
• Experience in the operation and maintenance management of laboratory equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Minitab
• Knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 12743, ISO 10251, and ISO 11794 standards
• Knowledge of laboratory data management systems
• Knowledge of metallurgical testing and mineral processing
