About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and update PFDs, P&IDs, and process simulations
- Optimize plant processes to improve production, energy use, and cost efficiency
- Troubleshoot operational issues and support daily plant activities
- Participate in HAZOP, PHA, and safety compliance activities
- Prepare technical specifications and support project engineering tasks
- Monitor key process parameters and provide performance reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 3–7 years experience in oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical plants
- Proficient in Aspen HYSYS and Aspen Plus
- Strong knowledge of process safety and industry standards (API, ASME)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
