Chemical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of chemical and wastewater treatment processes.
• Drive process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee quality control checks and maintain product quality standards.
• Manage chemical stores, ensuring correct storage and accurate stock levels.
• Support maintenance activities, including washer maintenance and WWT probe calibration.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to maximize equipment performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial experience focusing on chemical processes and equipment.
• Broad training in a related field acquired through college or work experience.
• Expertise in chemical process management and control within continuous operations.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment (WWT) systems and water treatment processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Chemical Engineer degree.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in emulsion system and washer process management.
