About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient substance use and mental health services, including psychosocial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapies through face-to-face sessions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, on diagnostic formulation and treatment direction.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant patient care documentation in accordance with HIPAA and CFR-42 Part 2 regulations.
- Serve as a peer mentor to support the development of less experienced team members.
- Act as a liaison with community agencies and participate in area activities related to substance use disorders.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Behavioral Health, Nursing, Social Work, Addictions, or a related field.
- Valid certification such as LCDC-II, LCDC-III, LICDC, LICDC-CS, or an equivalent.
- At least one year of professional work experience in behavioral health, social work, addictions, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in treating individuals with substance use disorders in both group and individual settings.
- Experience working with clients receiving Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), such as Buprenorphine, Methadone, and Naltrexone.
- Knowledge of various forms of community-based support systems.
