Chemical Category Manager for Waste Activities

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the global chemical category strategy for Waste Activities
• Maximize performance through TCO, risk management, operational excellence, and innovation
• Partner with internal stakeholders and local sites to solve issues and optimize supply solutions
• Lead supplier negotiations, global agreements, and contract compliance
• Support tenders, RFQs, and strategic project sourcing
• Monitor category KPIs and report performance to procurement and business teams
• Drive supplier relationship management, business reviews, and CSR initiatives

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Procurement, Business, or Engineering
• At least 5 years of procurement experience
• Strong negotiation, communication, and risk management skills
• Ability to work in a global, cross-functional environment
• Fluent English
• Customer-focused, collaborative, and proactive mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior knowledge of chemical products, markets, and suppliers
• Technical appetite and interest in industrial procurement
• Experience supporting business development and supply chain sustainability
• Leadership experience in category or stakeholder coordination
