Chemical and Materials Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventories of chemical products in various storage areas
• Identify, census, and locate products to ensure data reliability
• Update or create Excel tracking files according to defined models
• Identify CMR substances (Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, or Reprotoxic) and record associated information
• Verify consistency between on-site products and existing inventories
• Participate in the organization of storage spaces to ensure homogeneous arrangement
• Ensure compliance with safety rules regarding the handling and storage of chemical products
• Provide regular reporting on inventory progress and data quality

Requirements

• Bac+2 to Bac+5 in chemistry, physical measurements, materials, HSE, or laboratory
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a laboratory, chemical, or industrial environment
• Proficiency in Excel and technical data structuring
• Knowledge of CMR products and safety regulations for handling them
• Rigorous, methodical, and autonomous approach
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
