About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical analysis for food additives, nutrients, pesticide residues, and animal drug residues
- Organize and manage analytical data
- Assist in the development of new testing methods
- Maintain and manage ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory quality documentation
- Participate in internal and external laboratory audits and assessments
- Manage procurement and inventory of reagents and consumables
- Maintain and manage laboratory instrumentation
- Operate analytical instruments including HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC, GC/MS, and GC-MS/MS
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Life Sciences, Biology, or Agriculture
- Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory environments preferred
- At least one year of experience in food testing preferred
- Ability to independently study domestic and international health regulations
- Ability to work overtime or on weekend shifts as required by project schedules
