About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical analysis for food additives, nutrients, pesticide residues, and animal drug residues
  • Organize and manage analytical data
  • Assist in the development of new testing methods
  • Maintain and manage ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory quality documentation
  • Participate in internal and external laboratory audits and assessments
  • Manage procurement and inventory of reagents and consumables
  • Maintain and manage laboratory instrumentation
  • Operate analytical instruments including HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS/MS, GC, GC/MS, and GC-MS/MS

Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Life Sciences, Biology, or Agriculture
  • Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory environments preferred
  • At least one year of experience in food testing preferred
  • Ability to independently study domestic and international health regulations
  • Ability to work overtime or on weekend shifts as required by project schedules
