About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer site audits and technical scope-outs to assist sales teams with installation recommendations.
  • Commission, configure, and program controllers and chemical feed equipment.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical installations, including plumbing, conduit, and tubing.
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting for hardware and software issues related to process chemical monitoring and control.
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all service activities, site visits, and customer communications.

Requirements

  • Technical degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Instrumentation and Electronics (I&E) or plant operations/maintenance.
  • Mechanical aptitude for installing equipment, plumbing, conduit, and tubing (PVC, SS, and copper).
  • Ability to travel 50-60% within the assigned Western U.S. region, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle frequently.
  • Proficiency with computers, including word processing and spreadsheets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with digital communications such as MODBUS, OPC, ProfiNet, and cellular networking.
  • Understanding of water treatment processes, controls, and chemical applications.
  • Fundamental computer programming skills (Boolean and comparative logic).
  • Previous experience in a field service or customer-facing technical role.
