Responsibilities
- Supervise all aspects of wine service and collaborate with dining and kitchen teams
- Select wine collections and manage cellar operations including stock and inventory
- Provide exceptional guest service and expert food and wine pairings
- Lead and train the sommelier and service staff
- Develop relationships with local and regional wine estates
- Conduct guided tastings and educational workshops for guests
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Promote seasonal offers and specific wines to drive sales
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a sommelier in a fine dining or luxury hotel setting
- Professional certification in oenology
- Deep knowledge of wines, champagnes, and spirits
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent presentation and professional personality suitable for luxury clientele
- Strong understanding of high-end service standards
