About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with SOPs and recipes
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
- Manage prep lists, portion control and waste to protect margins
- Ensure cleaning schedules and food safety standards are consistently met
- Maintain HACCP records using the Kelsius system
- Assist with stock control and ordering
- Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement
- Support and work collaboratively with junior kitchen team members
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a chef in a busy kitchen
- Recognised food-related qualification
- Strong organisational skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Team player with clear communication skills
- Genuine interest in sustainable, seasonal food
- Fluency in English
