Chef

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality meals across Breakfast, Crib, and Dinner services
• Work closely with the Head Chef to uphold excellence in food quality and presentation
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards
• Maintain a proactive, solutions-focused approach to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Create memorable dining experiences for residents at Searipple Village

Requirements

• Must be a Karratha Local with own accommodation and ability to travel to work daily
• Australian Trade Qualification (Commercial Cookery Certificate 3 or higher)
• Proven experience in high-volume catering, including bulk meals and banquet service
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia
• Valid Driver's License and Photo ID
• Valid police check issued within the last 12 months (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment, and Drug and Alcohol Screen
• Reliability and motivation to work 10–12-hour shifts in harsh conditions

• Previous experience in mining village operations
