About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and motivate the railway operations team
- Apply and enforce occupational health and safety policies
- Plan the use and maintenance of equipment, including PPE and machinery for wagon loading
- Collaborate with the shuttle train operator to ensure safe and efficient wagon positioning
- Support the foreman with administrative and operational follow-ups related to railway production
Requirements
- At least 2 years of team management experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or production environments
- Experience operating heavy vehicles (loaders, cranes, shuttle trains)
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and railway regulations
- Fluency in French
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent physical condition for field work, including climbing wagons
- Experience in a railway environment is a significant asset
