Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Microbiology QC team, including recruitment, training, and performance monitoring
• Organize service activities and define priorities based on client deadlines and commitments
• Ensure scientific and regulatory compliance of laboratory activities in accordance with GMP/cGMP standards
• Supervise investigations related to OOS, deviations, anomalies, and customer complaints
• Participate in technical validation of analyses and data review
• Drive continuous improvement of laboratory methods, practices, and processes
• Contribute to internal audits, client audits, and regulatory inspections
• Support technical projects and R&D microbiology activities as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, or an equivalent scientific field
• Significant experience in a microbiological quality control laboratory within a pharmaceutical environment
• Proven experience in team management or laboratory activity leadership
• Strong knowledge of GMP/cGMP regulated environments
• Proficiency in microbiology and biology techniques applied to quality control
• Expertise in managing investigations, deviations, and continuous improvement processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in molecular biology, endotoxins, or cell culture
• Knowledge of laboratory quality management systems and tools
