About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional gastronomic experiences by offering personalized service recommendations and deep menu knowledge.
  • Lead and mentor the floor team, ensuring high standards of hospitality and service etiquette.
  • Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction in real-time, making necessary adjustments to ensure excellence.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and smooth service delivery.
  • Manage financial transactions, including cash handling and accurate processing of payments and invoices.
  • Oversee service supply stocks and communicate replenishment needs to management.
  • Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food service regulations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a server in high-end or fine-dining establishments.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing, training, and mentoring floor staff.
  • Deep understanding of service standards, etiquette, and fine-dining protocols.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and reservation management software.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and food pairings.
  • Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience specifically within high-end luxury dining.
  • In-depth knowledge of French cuisine and regional wine selections.
