Chef de Rang - Room Service

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of room service from order taking to final delivery
• Take telephone and digital orders and advise guests on menu choices
• Ensure trays and trolleys are prepared according to luxury standards
• Deliver orders to guest rooms with a professional and discreet approach
• Mentor and train support staff such as Commis de Rang
• Manage and resolve guest complaints or complex requests diplomatically
• Maintain effective communication with kitchen, bar, and reception departments
• Ensure compliance with HACCP hygiene and sanitation regulations

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is preferred
• Previous professional experience as Chef de Rang in a luxury environment
• Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Passion for high-level service and professional growth
