About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor floor staff to ensure service excellence
  • Manage dining room operations including table assignments and reservation coordination
  • Ensure compliance with service standards, presentation protocols, and quality criteria
  • Train new and existing staff on service procedures and menu knowledge
  • Act as the primary contact for customer concerns and special requests
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service execution
  • Maintain health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the dining area
  • Manage dining room supply stocks and communicate needs to the manager

Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in hospitality, with at least 2 years in a floor role
  • Mastery of service standards
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism
  • Proficiency in POS systems and restaurant management software
  • Knowledge of wines, beverages, and menu offerings
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods
