About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
- Explain dishes to guests with professional knowledge
- Lead a station and manage commis waiters to ensure smooth service
- Assist with table setting, including tableware and napkins
- Monitor customer feedback and requests
- Ensure food service adheres to safety standards
- Maintain station and restaurant cleanliness
Requirements
- Clear and efficient verbal and written English communication
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality guest service
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Detail-oriented and team-focused mindset
- Flexibility to respond to various work situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment
- Experience working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards
