Chef de Partie

Responsibilities

• Independently run a main galley section, managing food production and ensuring adherence to recipes and dish guidelines
• Control the service line during meal hours to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Lead, support, and train a multi-cultural team, providing inspiring leadership and enforcing operational standards
• Prepare daily electronic food requisitions, maintain recipe folders, and verify deliveries for accuracy
• Ensure all food preparation and storage comply with US Public Health, FDA Standards, and Company Regulations
• Maintain impeccable hygiene and "clean as you go" work habits to uphold safety and grooming standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar in a 5-star hospitality or restaurant environment
• Advanced culinary skills with in-depth knowledge of hot and cold kitchen sections
• Valid Bar Card and Food Handling certification
• Knowledge of US Public Health and FDA Standards
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
• Physically fit to meet the demands of an intense shipboard role, including standing, kneeling, and lifting for prolonged periods
• Ability to work a 10/3 rotation (10 weeks on board, 3 weeks off)
