About the role

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of your assigned kitchen station during service
  • Prepare and cook menu items to recipe standards and quality specifications
  • Supervise and guide Commis chefs and kitchen helpers at your station
  • Ensure mise en place is complete and the station is ready before each service
  • Monitor portion control, waste management, and stock levels at your section
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen
  • At least 1 year of experience at CDP level
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to the assigned station
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate junior kitchen staff
  • Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Asian or Hawaiian cuisine is an advantage
