About the role
Responsibilities
- Run a designated kitchen section during restaurant service
- Ensure dishes are prepared and plated according to specifications
- Maintain mise en place for daily service
- Prepare and pack food for off-site catering and large-scale events
- Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of catering services
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards)
- Monitor stock levels and support junior kitchen staff
Requirements
- 2–4 years of kitchen experience, including CDP level or strong commis experience
- Solid understanding of professional kitchen operations
- Experience with both à la carte service and large-scale catering
- Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or higher preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
