Chef de Partie

Responsibilities

• Supervise a specific kitchen section, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation
• Execute daily food preparation tasks and maintain consistency in standards as set by the restaurant
• Prepare food according to standard recipe cards, ensuring portion control and minimizing waste
• Manage inventory and stock levels, implementing proper rotation and monitoring expiry dates
• Supervise and guide junior chefs, ensuring effective communication and shift handovers
• Maintain strict hygiene and safety compliance, adhering to HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP standards
• Ensure all kitchen equipment in the section is functional and report maintenance needs promptly

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a 4/5-star hotel, resort, or high-end restaurant
• Culinary diploma or equivalent certification from an accredited institution
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Proven leadership and supervision skills to train and manage junior staff
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Proficiency in English (both written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
