About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the team working within your specific station
- Relay communications from the Chef and Sous-Chef to your team members
- Mentor and transmit culinary knowledge to commis, apprentices, and interns to ensure their successful integration
- Manage orders and deliveries for your station
- Implement new principles to increase employee productivity
- Coordinate the maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Propose improvements and suggestions for culinary operations
- Apply all current hygiene and safety rules and procedures (HACCP)
- Work evening shifts on Thursdays and Fridays and participate in special events or company development activities as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Fluent French and at least an intermediate level of English
- Professional qualification such as CAP, BEP, Bac Pro, or BTS in Hospitality/Catering
- Strong knowledge of HACCP hygiene standards
- Dynamic, rigorous, efficient, and versatile professional attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a team and take initiative
