Chef de Partie

Responsibilities

• Perform mise-en-place including washing, chopping, boiling, and mixing
• Prepare base sauces, stocks, garnishes, pastries, and ice cream
• Execute à la minute cooking, portioning, and plating according to standards
• Monitor food quality, taste, appearance, and hygiene compliance
• Supervise apprentices and provide feedback on performance
• Support staff meals, breakfast buffets, and special event garnishes
• Contribute to the development of new dishes and recipes
• Maintain workstation and kitchen equipment cleanliness
• Report malfunctions or irregularities to the Head Chef
• Assist with deliveries and storage as needed

Requirements

• Experience as Chef de Partie or equivalent
• Strong understanding of international cuisine and modern cooking techniques
• Clean, organized, and HACCP-compliant work style
• Creative, flexible, and stress-resistant personality
• Good command of English (Dutch is a plus)
• Availability for flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
