Chef de Partie (CDP)

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate an assigned kitchen section independently
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to brand standards
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the section
• Assist in menu development, recipe testing, and mise en place planning
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and support inventory control
• Train and guide Commis and junior team members
• Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth service flow
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a CDP or strong Demi Chef de Partie
• Solid background in high-volume or premium dining environments
• Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and speed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
• HACCP certification is an advantage
