Chef de Partie (CDP) – Bakery Team

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake high-quality breads, pastries, doughs, and specialty bakery items
• Ensure consistent quality, flavor, texture, and presentation across all products
• Manage the assigned bakery station independently and efficiently
• Handle daily mise en place and follow production schedules
• Maintain strict cleanliness, organization, and hygiene within the bakery section
• Follow established recipes, portion controls, and production standards
• Assist in training Commis and junior bakery staff members
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, hygiene, and food safety regulations
• Collaborate with the wider culinary team to support smooth service operations

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CDP in a bakery section
• Proven experience working in fine dining environments within the UAE
• Strong technical knowledge of doughs, pastries, lamination, and various baking techniques
• Ability to work independently and manage a station in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to culinary quality
• Thorough understanding of food safety and HACCP hygiene standards
• Culinary or bakery certification is preferred
