About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef and sous chef
- Manage your assigned station, overseeing the production of all dishes within your area
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your designated area and equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely food preparation
- Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Contribute to menu development by providing innovative ideas and suggestions
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in your section
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation for your station
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or in a similar culinary role
- Culinary diploma or relevant certification in the culinary arts
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
- Proficiency with professional kitchen equipment and tools
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
